We guide violence survivors (women and children exposed to violence) towards essential services and resources that support their mental wellness journeys

Comprehensive database of women and children shelters in South Africa.

We offer vital information on available shelters, their locations, services offered, and contact details, thereby facilitating timely assistance to those in need.

Connecting survivors to essential services

We identify each individual's unique needs and facilitate referrals to appropriate support services, ensuring timely and effective assistance.

Community engagement and awareness

We conduct awareness campaigns to educate communities about violence prevention and encourage the protection of women and children. And we offer advocacy and support groups that provide safe spaces for survivors to share experiences and access assistance.

WELCOME!

Mental Wellness Journeys provides support to women and children affected by violence, offering services such as confidential screening, shelter referrals, and educational resources.

With our trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and confidential screening process, we effectively support survivors on their recovery journey by connecting them to essential services.

We are committed to educating individuals and community members on recognizing signs of abuse—whether personally affected or concerned about their children or students in educational settings. By understanding the indicators of physical, sexual, emotional, and psychological abuse, individuals can seek appropriate assistance and support others in the community facing such challenges.
